It does and that's what I thought before finishing the book and looking into it myself. There just isn't much information on the effect it has on a stutter (although they do vary). I wouldn't pay for it without looking into it first, even at that, I'm mostly interested in doing it if it has or may have any effect on my stutter. The book doesn't recommend any courses and is factual and I highly recommend the book
