i would bet there is an NSA chapter in your area. i went to the one in boston a few times, and it's a great safe space to open up. it's also a way to interact with people in person where you don't think it's a big deal if you stutter. i also did toastmasters up in that area for awhile as well. i've heard a lot of stutterers do toastmasters and think it helps them with becoming better communicators. it was definitely an experience, it felt insane to give a public presentation on my stuttering, but it was a great experience to go through. in the end, it felt like a little too much for me at the time, but i'm down for trying it again in the future. good luck!
