Gee, thanks. The Abilify was prescribed as an adjunct to my antidepressant. That tiny dose has been so effective that we decided to let it be. If I remained interested in treating my mild stuttering I would definitely pursue increasing the dose. As it is, I’m now into an acceptance stage. As a 78f who stuttered mildly, I’ve had a wonderful life despite my speech. I’m through with the fight. I wholeheartedly support all efforts of stutterers to understand and treat their stuttering. This condition affects all aspects of life. There are now many interventions and continuing research will bring more successful treatment. konibak, keep supporting this cause. There are so many young stutterers who need to believe that they can succeed in life regardless of stuttering.
