This is quite tricky but here's a few thoughts off the top of my head. If you're anxious you're already in fight, flight, freeze mode, so fighting yourself in the middle of that is only going to make things worse. In the moment, it might help to take a step back from the situation if possible, take some controlled breaths to calm your autonomic nervous system. Once you've done that you can think more rationally. Then you might reason that other people have their own shit going on and aren't necessarily as bothered about as you might perceive them to be. Then there's always deflection or leaving the situation. Self-consciousness is something that needs to be dealt with outside of the situations where you feel it, at times when you remember being self-conscious but have the space to process your feelings and think things through rationally. Think about other people. Are you constantly judging them on every aspect of their lives, their mannerisms, their beliefs, etc? Unlikely, as this would be exhausting. Same for other people. Most of them aren't judging you for everything because they've got their own stuff to deal with. Sure, we all make judgements about people but don't do it all the time, and people generally learn to accept each other.
