Does profanity help break anybody else?

Does profanity help break anybody else? Sometimes when I'm talking and I get stuck on a stutter, shouting "fuck!" breaks it and helps me get back into the flow of my sentence. I don't mean hollering at the top of my lungs, just a solid, firm, quick curse. Anybody else? "My great aunt Shelly played t-t-th- ^FUCK the violin as a child."
