Yes. And fully accepting that activates an inner power. The cliche is true - to live is to let go. And then, with this reality check and an increased meditation practice, along with purposefully diving into my fears (to grow my CourageMuscle)- I looked up about 12 years later, and saw that I transcended my stutter. Im now 46. I still stutter when I’m not in a strong state (it’s a light on my dash 🚨), but stuttering doesn’t stop me anymore. Btw - no one is unable to change. That’s a story we humans like that keeps us “safe.” You may not want to change or haven’t found the right guide (use that term vs. therapist) to lead you. Every stutterer doesn’t want to stutter, but the norms of who we are becomes the more desirable “safe” outcome than foundationally shifting.
