Good on you man. I used to be bothered by public speaking, then about halfway through college I decided that I didn't care what they thought. I was going to give the best damn speech they had ever heard, stutter or not. Now, I actually enjoy speaking in front of people, my job depends on it (ski instructor). Whenever I hear someone who speaks fluently say they are afraid of public speaking, I say, "What are you afraid of? That you won't be able to talk? If I can do it, surely you can too." Now the only thing left for you to do is ask that sexy white woman out.
