Actually what he says is kind of true, like I can realize halfway through that my sentence might be misinterpreted, or is poorly worded or something, and stuttering sometimes gives me enough time to think or makes rephrasing less awkward. Maybe I think like that just because I speak quite fluently (at least right now, it still depends on the person in front of me and the time of year, but even at my worst I must already be at the best of quite a few people in the community). I imagine that when you have a strong stutter and that you suffer discrimination because of it, this sentence must make you lose it.
