Saw an improviser with a stutter I'm reasonably involved in a local improvisational comedy community. I knew about a performer who had a stutter, but hadn't seen him play in a year or two. Background: I've had speech problems my whole life, now all I have is an occasional stutter/speech blocks - it gets better or worse depending on the situation. (We all know: saying your name, etc) I saw him play on stage and *he killed it*. Got the most laughs out of anyone, and I couldn't tell if the audience noticed or cared. I could pick up on it since we all have a better susceptibility for picking out those sorts of things, but he played it off super well and totally owned it. Even if a line started with a 5-10 second repeat of some sound, the punchline always hit. I wanted to share this to be inspiration for anyone with a stutter who gets held back. You got this! God bless
