People always say this but I feel like this is a BS statistic. I’ve met 3 other stutterers my entire life, and I live in a large urban city of 3 million plus people. If 1/100 people actually had this, I would meet others way more frequently. This is an extremely isolating disorder particularly because of how rare this is.
