Both are dopinergenic disorders. Clomipramine, one of the old gold standards for OCD (it's a tricyclic antidepressant which has more side effects than SSRI antidepressants) is actually one of the few medications that is listed to help with OCD. It does have a lot of potential side effects though, which is worth considering. I don't know as much about the neural networks, but both are caused by signals not being executed, probably due to a dopamine imbalance.
