8th grade. Decided to try out for the school musical. Worst fear came true: got a speaking part!! Rehearsals went well, I was feeling ready. Opening night: I'm standing center stage with my cast mates. My line comes up and ........ nothing. I'm stuttering and the entire theatre knows it. My absolute worst fear came true, and I survived!! Overall it was a fantastic experience. So, I kept going back each year. My senior year I got the male lead. It was great.
