It would be removed only for the part about it being 'proven' to decrease severity of stutter. That is, unless you have a credible, peer-reviewed citation that actually does prove this, which puts it more in the realm of research discussion and less in the realm of recommendation. We don't want those words ('proven', 'cure') thrown around without some heft backing them up. To be clear, your original comment was mostly removed for you telling the OP they could 'try' certain things, 'should' pressure their providers to put them on a certain medication, and for giving a specific brand recommendation. The parts about them finding a reliable and credible healthcare provider and what's worked for you were just fine. Just try ti remember that we're not doctors here and every person is unique in their medical history, risks, and needs. That means that advising someone on these matters is not our place. Discussion of how things have helped us specifically is okay. suggesting someone ask their doctor about a certain treatment is also okay.
