Speech therapist here. If you receive speech therapy at school and feel this way PLEASE tell your speech therapist so he/she can put an accommodation in your IEP that tells teachers they are not allowed to do this (or must get your permission ahead of time before asking you to). You may already have an accommodation like this in place and it's just not being followed. If you tell your speech therapist it's not being followed he/she will remind your teachers (privately) that they aren't allowed to do this.
