Has anybody here ever pursued discrimination litigation against a company because of their stutter? Was wondering if anyone here has ever pursued legal litigation against a company for workplace discrimination because of their stutter, or knows of an instance where it has happened. I guess this mostly applies to the Americans here, because I was thinking of how stuttering is protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act. I've been having a very tough time finding a white-collar job because I always do poorly in the interview process because the anxiety of a promising job interview exacerbates my stutter very badly, even for jobs I think like I am very qualified for. Even though I know it is the scoundrels way out, I have been considering filing suit against some of the places who have refused to hire me. I haven't really consulted a lawyer yet, but my friend who is one told me that it's a hard thing to prove. So I'm not looking for legal advice here, but if any of you guys have anecdotal experience or links to other peoples experiences, it would be much appreciated. my own small anecdote: when I was in high school I worked with a man at a fast food restaurant who had quite the severe stutter. He was nice and competent, but was past the age of 40 and still flipping burgers for near minimum wage, plus a lot of the other employees would make fun of him, which absolutely broke my heart, but I didn't want to speak out
