As u/AttackOnGeckos said, I think acceptance is the most natural way to overcome stuttering caused by anxiety. Stuttering caused by other brain disorders might be more complex to reduce. But how do you just "accept" something that brings you so much pain in your daily life? I have personally found meditation to be extremely helpful against stuttering, not in reducing frequency, but making my blocks so much easier to overcome. I don't do anything special while meditating, I just sit and focus on my self. Another, more risky and extreme measure I have tried is the psychedelic drug LSD. Psychedelics have been used in trials to help with depression other psychological illnesses. As psychedelics can create new neural pathways ([article](https://www.livescience.com/48502-magic-mushrooms-change-brain-networks.html), I had the hypothesis that it might "rewire" communications in my brain to finally send signals the correct way. I tried taking 100 mcg (a "normal" dose"), and while it didn't rewire my brain, it completely blew my mind and gave me a new look on stuttering & life in general. Now I still get my blocks, but I roll over them with much more ease than I did before. Take this as a personal anecdote, and please do your research about any drug or treatment you decide to take. In my case, taking LSD was not without risk, but I followed safety measures and I made it out again whole. Take care out there and good luck with whatever you do.
