"I’m nearly 50 and this has been my life since age 4. I hate it." - this sentence resonates with me. I hated my life when my stuttering was unchecked. I just said to myself - "I have to get over this before I start university. I can't keep going like this". And I put all of my effort into improving. It took 2 years and now my life will never be the same. I am a completely different person - more sociable, and I love life. Did you go through a similar period? If not, why didn't you give it your all to alleviate this "curse"?(I used to talk it that, now I am proud of my stutter).
