In preschoolers and school-age kids who stutter research suggests that there is a higher incidence of articulation disorders and language disorders when compared to the general population. There aren't really a whole lot of data on adults. And it's difficult to know (from a text post) whether of not your pattern to "[not] articulate" well is the response of speech rate or legitimate articulation.
