Ups and downs depending on who I'm working with and what I'm working on. Rarely, people hay have held it against me, which definitely does suck, but skin grows thick through years of medical training. All the people I've encountered with a stutter in medicine are all very impressive, so it doesn't seem to have held them back much. Effective verbal communication, which is a requirement in our field, is more challenging with a stutter, and it will take more effort for you, and that’s okay. Improving every day in all facets of your job will be the key to success. You got this :)
