Yes, this does happen and it’s really dumb. I’ve literally been told it’s why and other times I haven’t been flat out told but it’s pretty obvious that is why. I’m glad they show me who they are up front. It might be illegal but it’s still done. Who wants to work with people like that anyway? I tell people to keep going, try not to get discouraged, be upfront that you have it and tell the reasons why it’s made you who you are and why you would be a great employee.
