A little late to reply here. I also struggle with pronouncing the first syllable of the first word in a sentence; after that, it's relatively fluent. One thing that has helped me tremendously has been working out. I feel like a large part of stuttering is the mental block: we want to speak but are terrified of being rejected due to our stutter. This cyclical process makes it a fuckton worse. Working out has substantially increased my confidence and has reduced that mental block that caused anxiety. The anxiety is definitely not gone, far from it, but has been reduced. Try engaging in activities that you truly find meaningful and enjoyable and your anxiety might get reduced.
