Hey! I also have the same thing! A slight block and moderate stutter. I just began to take speech therapy again. I just turned 18 and the last time I took therapy was in 7th grade! I have seen progress already from just one visit. I think talking about it plainly and feeling comfortable with that around your therapist helps so much. I have found that the therapy so far has made me feel alot more comfortable with myself and calm. Anxiety around talking to friends or strangers has gone down alot, which is leading to better fluency! I think the most important thing is just vulnerability and openness with your therapist. They want to help you you just have to be open to the ways they are gonna suggest to help. Hope therapy helps you as well! It’s nothing to be scared about, rather something to be excited about :) God bless
