I hear ya, introductions are tough for me and many others but you can definitely do it! If you have the type of character that is willing to go into a tough profession like nursing, you can handle the discomfort of the introduction. As far as a tip for introducing yourself, I find if I say my name as part of a longer sentence, it helps, like “good morning everyone, nice to meet you, my name is Trey, etc.” Once I get going my name comes out more easily. I’m rooting for you! P.S. health care workers are mostly empathetic, and I don’t think they will think you are a loser. They deal with so much on a regular basis, a stutter is just another thing.
