Well over a decade of in-school therapy, I saw private SLPs who specialized in stuttering when I was younger, and I just went to HCRI’s intensive course in December. Nothing has ever really worked for me. Locally, it’s about $100/hr to see anyone remotely qualified. I’m putting myself through college so it’s totally out of my budget. I’m sure I could find some sort of online course but there are so many scams and false promises, I’m hesitant to get financially and emotionally invested in anything like that. HCRI was thousands and I was a total failure at their course and even they felt a bit scammy.
