I’d say the biggest thing is be confident. Even if you aren’t, fake it. Demand respect by looking people in the eye when you talk and if they try to cut you off, politely hold up your hand or indicate in some way that you weren’t finished speaking. Eventually the confidence will come naturally. Best of luck!
