My daughter started to stutter at age 3, exactly when I did. I had my moment of guilt and crying. I gave it the 6 months the doctor suggested since my husband asked for that. It could be normal, but there's a 50/50 chance of passing stuttering on. After that, we did early intervention speech therapy (all on our own, no one will recommend this). And I worked with her at home. It was amazing and helped her. You can't tell now. I say go for it. As a mom, I'm pregnant again and willing to do all the therapy over again.
