At one of my old jobs my co-workers and I were cued up for food or something. For one reason or another I was taking more time choosing my food than my coworker thought I should. She was a really lovely woman, and would never say anything intentionally hurtful. but in an attempt to be funny she used that Billy Madison quote, "t-t-t-today Junior". I turned to her and with a straight face and said, "are you mocking the fact that I stutter?" The tension was palpable--I had just accused the sweetest woman in the office of being a jerk. I then cracked a smile. And there was much laughter.
