Interesting... I wonder if the newest SpeechEasy devices remedy that issue? I believe I read on the SpeechEasy site that **some** insurance companies/plans will cover it but most will not because it is a device that can only be used for a limited period of time until your disfluency improves; they basically still consider it "not medically necessary." They recommend contacting your insurance company to inquire about it because it doesn't hurt to ask.
