Do you have a prescription for propranolol which is a beta blocker? It inhibits adrenaline and helps with heart racing, shakes voice, sweating, etc. For me it doesn’t completely stop me from stammering but it does help me get my speech out a bit smoother in high pressure situations. Truly a lifesaver. I find it always helps to introduce yourself to others that are also alone or look equally as nervous! I like to avoid any group or table introductions because if I feel pressured it makes speech blocks even worse. Maybe find someone, tell them you have a speech impediment and see if they can help make some introductions!
