I tried CBT during Covid and I wish I didn’t bother. Not sure if it’s different depending on country, but in the UK it consists of a quiz to determine how mentally well you are. They ask you the usual questions ‘have you been anxious this week?’ And you give it a 1-10. I also got told to think of the colour purple when I’m talking because it will calm my nerves. As you can likely tell, it didn’t work too well. This is the struggling NHS we’re talking about though so hopefully your CBT course will be better structured. I tried hypnotherapy twice when I was between 9-12. I think I was too young and couldn’t focus on it. I’m really considering it again though
