PSA: Think of yourself as a Person Who Stutters (PWS), instead of a stutterer If you think of yourself as a stutterer, you're letting it define you as person, instead of just something we all have to deal with. Instead think of yourself as a PWS, and let all the other positive qualities you have define who you are as a person. It took me a long time to realize this, but once you realize you're not just a stutterer, then you can learn to respect yourself more.
