I think your first statement is really interesting. I feel like dating someone who stutters would sound like two misfiring machine guns going back and fourth. And if you had a child, they would almost be guaranteed to stutter I bet. I wouldn't want to put my child through that either, because even though, in hindsight, a lot of my pain was self-inflicted, it sucks.
