Im a 23M and one way I overcame my issues with my stutter is legitimately by applying for a job i knew would require me to talk more by a long shot. Working grocery retail enables constant interaction with customers. Some are rude asf, ngl. But others are nice and funny. Even becomes regulars and you strike a conversation with them. For my case, my job helped me find myself in the broader scope of the world. Helped me ground myself in a "yea, I stutter, but despite that I still connect with my peers and customers." Its definitely hard to put yourself in instances where talking is sorta forced. I know this very well. But once you get past that social barrier, everything else comes easy
