I am the exact same way! Mine really shows up when I have to have an extended conversation. I can rattle of 1-4 sentences pretty fluently but say at work if I am having to go into detail on something, I can have major blockage and it throws people off because I have always conversed fluently in the past with me. I would love to go to therapy for it, that's maybe something i will do in the future. Like you said, I'm happy it's not worse and I am still able to do my job, just with some embarrassment. Most of the time people don't know my blockage because I just find another word or start over.
