I loved the part about not stuttering among strangers. I am completely the same. Around people who I don't know very well my stutter becomes much less visible. There are people I know and meet occasionally who don't even know that I stutter and it's usually like that when meeting someone new. But when I am talking to my parents or close friends it becomes much worse.
