Saying my name is where I first stuttered in public. I didn't stutter until I was about 13, and managed to "hide" it by saying things that I knew would be easier to get out. Can't really change your name. I still get stuck on my name from time to time. I just point out that I have a stutter - somehow I can say this with no problem haha - and people are usually cool with it.
