For people who do exposure therapy, what pace do you speak at? \*Specifically for psychological stutterers I’m on a plan of trying exposure therapy which is basically exposing yourself to more social situations and practicing that. I only started getting my developmental stutter after covid because I basically spent the entire year bedrotting and that obviously did not help so now I’m trying to slowly undo that and try to practice exposure therapy but I do have a question. Do you guys usually speak at a slow or a normal pace that’s not too fast but not too slow either? Because I often find myself having more blocks when I speak slower because my mind overthinks a lot and anticipates the stutter around others but when I speak at a normal pace sometimes, it goes smoothly.
