People like you, trying to go against what's established, is always a bad idea to have around. Speech therapy is central. It being affordable or not is not something that easily changes. But that's not an excuse for people like you to rag on it. You sound uninformed and you're not helping anyone. That's the problem here. We don't need that in a place like this. So just stop it.
