Is it possible to have a “reverse” stutter?

Is it possible to have a “reverse” stutter? EDIT: I’m so excited! My husband and I had our first meeting with a school psychologist, speech pathologist, school counsellor, and my daughter’s 2nd grade teacher. Over the summer, she will be getting a cognitive assessment to evaluate HER particular learning style, occupational therapy assessment to address some tactile issues we didn’t even realize were a thing, speech pathology assessment, and dyslexia/dysphonia assessments, among other evaluations. They have assured me that all of these assessments are “play-based” so she will not feel any extra pressure and we should have a plan in place for her before she starts third grade. I feel like we are finally being heard and are on track to learn tools to help her succeed! THANK YOU for your kind words of encouragement and direct messages when I was feeling so discouraged and lost! ——————-—————————————————- I hope this isn’t a stupid question. My daughter, 7, is struggling with school. We are beginning to go down the path of assessments for learning disabilities. One thing I’ve noticed recently is that when she speaks, she repeats the last sound of her words, sometimes 4 or 5 times before she goes on to the next word. A sentence like “The dog went to the park” becomes “The-uh-uh d-og. . . og . . . og went to-oo-oo-oo . . . oo the par. . . ar . . .k” Is this even a thing?? Could it be related to her challenges she is having? I am at a complete loss.
