Thanks for your ideas. That very well might be what he(?) was referring to. Kind of like big picture v. small picture. I was wondering if he was referring to the linguistic (word meaning) v. the motor (mouth movement) aspect of words. (something, as a researcher, I'm very interested in ... but my interest might have been biasing me, haha)
