A good way to practice is by reading out loud while using the DAF (delayed auditory feedback) machine. This used to be a $500+ machine, but now you can download it onto your smart phone for like $10. Some even half a free sample. It lets you listen to your speech as you are speaking, and you can control the speed (delay) of the feedback which in turn slows down your speed. It really helps you focus on your speech, instead of focusing on the worry that you may/will stutter. Feel free to skype with me if you're still looking for someone. I used to do speech therapy over skype for years, and would love to help out a fellow person in need if I can.
