Did anyone else start late? I've often heard that a stutter is generally a thing you grow out of (admittedly it's often said by people that don't know what they're talking about) but I didn't start stuttering until I was in my late teens/early twenties. I'm not entirely sure why, might have been stress, might have been the drugs I was taking or maybe it was that my long term girlfriend had a stutter. However it started, it's been with me for over a decade, although it's only a minor annoyance now. Has this happened to anyone else? is it common?
