The other thing he says is that he will not he able to get a good job because of his speech. And the therapist said that another one of his patients has a stutter worse than my son's and he is a Vice President at a Fortune 500 company. And that the way he deals with it is that he doesn't consider it a problem and he just presses on no matter how much he stutters until he communicates the message he is trying to deliver. But I don't think he really put any credence into it because he finds it debilitating.
