The other thing he says is that he will not he able to get a good job because of his speech. And the therapist said that another one of his patients has a stutter worse than my son's and he is a Vice President at a Fortune 500 company. And that the way he deals with it is that he doesn't consider it a problem and he just presses on no matter how much he stutters until he communicates the message he is trying to deliver. But I don't think he really put any credence into it because he finds it debilitating. He thinks he will end up at some minimum wage the rest of his life because of this problem and I tell them that many people have overcome this or learned to live with it.
