Paid Stuttering Research - £10 per hour - London/Birmingham (UK) and surrounding areas I posted a while ago advertising my project, but I can't update the title of that so I'm posting an updated call for participants here. So I stutter, and I'm also a PhD student at University College London. I’ve taken my experiences forward to try and research what causes stuttering and how to improve it. Over the coming 12 months we’ll be running a number of exciting projects looking at various aspects of stuttering, assessing them using brain scans, and trying to improve them with the exciting and totally safe technique of brain stimulation - which just involves placing a couple of sponges on your head really. There are multiple projects so you can choose which you would like to take part in. All research is paid at around £10 per hour, and some projects will involve multiple sessions so you could earn up to £50 for 4-5 hours of your time. It’s all very simple stuff, it won’t take too much of your time, you’ll be paid a reasonable amount, and it’ll help us to understand more about stuttering and come up with improved ways of handling it. I’ll be running these projects mainly at my UCL building near Euston, but I can also move around for some of these projects so wherever you are in London, Birmingham, or surrounding areas, I can come to you or you can come to UCL or the University of Birmingham if you are near there.
