Most people that stutter grow up with extreme fear of getting judged by others. regardless of the severity of their stutter, they start experiencing other issues like people pleasing and social anxiety. Anxiety in turn makes our stutter worse and the downward spiral is next to impossible to control. For most of us, we learn to fear any speaking situations because we’ve been told over and over as children to ‘stop speaking like that’, or gotten mocked by others. The best course of action is to seek professional help, both for yourself to learn more about stuttering, and for your daughter to start feeling comfortable with however she speaks (emphasis here is to make her comfortable however she speaks, and not force her to improve, which implies something is broken)
