Thank you for posting this!! I was recommended to start low-dose SSRIs but hadn't heard of anyone else taking them for stuttering. My disfluency exacerbates with performance/speech anxiety, which I'm about to have to deal with on a daily basis. I'm nervous about my stutter keeping me from achieving my goals. Do you recommend starting the SSRI? I have general anxiety issues so it would kind of be hitting two birds with stone but I'm anxious about starting them. I also have beta blockers that I've taken for presentations/speeches. I wish I was able to help with what you were specifically asking about but I'm just grateful to hear someone has tried SSRIs for this issue.
