I've managed to my control my stutter. But instead of being *fluent*, I'm Eloquent. That's the key word. I've been on the McGuire programme and there I've learned a new way of breathing, speaking and other techniques to help me on the road to articulate eloquence. Nobody in the world is a fluent speaker, not one person. So don't aim to be just that. I use a lot of deliberate stuttering which instead of making me *fluent* it just gives me control over the stutter. There's no point in aiming for fluency, just aim to be able to communicate, and if that means showing your stutter here and there due to stuttering on purpose, then so be it!
