I’m the same way, the noise actually makes it easier to talk. I had a similar experience at panera, mainly due to me wearing a mask, and I got so frustrated I ordered special masks from Friends Who Stutter once I got home. Now I wear them when I’m out in public. This allows me to advertise without speaking so if I block the person knows why by reading my mask.
