People are so cruel. I've always had a stutter/block and school was so hard. And now my 13 year old kid has it. First of all, give yourself a break. It's really hard but you are better than them. You wouldn't make fun of anyone with a disability so why is it ok to make fun of stuttering? Whether people want to acknowledge it or not, it IS a disability. Parents don't want to make a big deal out of it or at least my mom didnt care. I had to beg to be put in speech therapy. You have to advocate for yourself. No one else can look out for you like yourself. Say to yourself fuck those people, even try to fake laugh when they make fun of you or clap and say "nice" after they do it. And talk to the teacher or write them a note. Better yet, ask if you can do your presentations silently just on PowerPoint. It isn't fair that you should go on living like this. They have speech therapy available through insurance depending on where you live. If you don't feel good right now, just know you're not alone and life will get a little better hopefully. Sending good vibes and energy your way.
