I was in the exact same position. My mom new I stuttered so she'd talk for me. Plus it felt better coming from her than from an 18 year old kid. Like if we wwre at doctors offices or whatever You get what I'm saying..... Anyway, just send it. Seriously don't give a 💩 what people think. After high school, you meet soo many new people. These older adults you will work with have already experienced so many types of people they aren't gonna give 2 💩 s if you just have a stutter. BUT there are people that try to "walk all over you" because they know you can't defend yourself that well due to a stuttering issue. If this happens, be open and honest with your bosses. Or be open and honest with police officers. Or whoever you have to defend yourself to. Just don't care, and live life to the fullest. Don't let it bring you down AT ALL. I just recently overcame a low in my life from stuttering but I told myself the exact same stuff I'm telling you. And now I'm out of that rut. Good out there dude or dudet. You got this!
